Fluency and the Whole Child: A Framework for Treating School-age Children who Stutter
Learner Outcomes:
• Participants will identify formal and informal tools for assessing self-knowledge, self-adjustment, self-acceptance, and self-advocacy of school-age children who stutter.
• Participants will be able to write goals to address self-knowledge, self-adjustment, self-acceptance, and self-advocacy for school-age children who stutter.
• Participants will explore treatment ideas for targeting self-knowledge, self-adjustment, self-acceptance, self-advocacy with school-age children who stutter.
• Participants will explore ways to develop home practice/carryover activities to maximize participation and generalization.
