Building tour of the new Fountain Inn High School, led by the design team at Craig Gaulden Davis. Eligible for 1.25 LU|HSWs. To meet the demands of a growing population and a robust advanced manufacturing industry, Greenville County Schools partnered with Craig Gaulden Davis to design a new high school with a STEAM based educational program and a focus on Advanced Manufacturing, Automation, and Engineering. The new school is designed for an initial population of 1,000 students with a core for future expansion up to 2,000 students. The design focuses on flexibility, collaboration, and it celebrates the advanced manufacturing programs available to students by making these spaces highly visible. Please join us of a hard hat building tour of this innovative facility as it nears the completion of construction. Scott Powell, Principal at Craig Gaulden Davis, Charles Gunning, Principal at Craig Gaulden Davis, along with Harper Corporation will introduce the vision for the design and construction of the facility. Following this introduction, attendees will tour the site, building, and building system components. Hardhats, safety vests and closed-toe shoes are required. If unvaccinated, masks are required.
