Porch Stroll - Walking tour infused with Summerville's famous southern hospitality. Explore our famous B&Bs during this summertime stroll. In celebration of National Iced Tea Day, the Summerville Bed and Breakfast Association will host the first annual Porch Stroll. This neighborhood and community event will highlight eight different venues where attendees can sit and sip iced tea on some of Summerville's most beautiful southern porches. With expected Summerville southern hospitality, each of the eight hosts will offer unique delectable treats and experiences, which include strolling historic gardens, farm animal snuggles, live music, and artwork by local artists available for purchase. The route is largely walkable and specific B&B locations will be provided upon ticket purchase. Golf carts will be available for those needing assistance. Ticket proceeds will benefit Summerville's historic Timrod Library—one of only two membership libraries still in existence in South Carolina. Space is limited, so we encourage purchasing tickets well in advance. This event will take place rain or shine. No refunds.
