MALDEN, MA — Malden City Hall reopened to the public Tuesday for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
Officials said the city's COVID-19 daily incidence rate has fallen to 7.7 from a high of 88.1 in January. Malden is now considered a low-risk, or "green," community by the Department of Public Health.
Visitors to City Hall will be welcomed by greeters Terric Foong and Michael Boyd, who will help direct people to their desired department. Face coverings and social distancing will be required, and there will be a supply of masks and hand sanitizer in the lobby.
