Venue Maintenance Manager

Description

We are looking for a skilled, hard working and dedicated Venue Maintenance Manager to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. This position will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and to ensure facilities are clean, safe, and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Responsibilities: -Perform cleaning duties such as dusting, mopping, cleaning restrooms, carpet cleaning, etc. -Perform minor repairs such as fixing broken doors and locks, painting, patching walls -Will be the POC for all maintenance subcontractors (landscaping, HVAC, cleaning crew) -Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues -Install minor appliances and equipment -Do landscape upkeep by weeding, leaf blowing, collecting trash etc. -Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, etc. -Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation, HVAC, electrical) -Check functionality of safety systems -Create standard operating procedures for maintenance and cleaning -Collaborate with workers and other professionals during building projects -Reports to the Director of Operations Requirements: -Proven experience as assistant director or other similar position -Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems -Experience using hand and tools -Ability to read technical manuals and drawings -Availability to works nights and weekends on occasion -Very good communication and interpersonal skills -Physical stamina and dexterity -Must have reliable means of transportation and valid drivers license -High school diploma or equivalent -Successful completion of an apprenticeship would be beneficial
