On Monday, May 31, at 7:35 p.m. a piece of playground equipment at the lower end of Village Park was damaged due to a motor vehicle accident. This accident remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department. The suspect is in custody. The playground equipment was removed this morning due to damage. No one was using the playground at the time of the accident.
