EAST HARLEM, NY — A 15-year-old boy was killed Monday in an East Harlem shooting that also left a man injured, police said. Police responded around 10:30 p.m. Monday to reports of a shooting at the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 123rd Street. Officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The first victim, fifteen-year-old Amir James, a Bronx resident, was hit in the torso and rushed to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead. The second victim, a 30-year-old man, was hospitalized in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the right knee, police said. Police have made no arrests and an investigation is ongoing. Monday's shooting came just two days after another fatal shooting one block away. On Saturday, a gunman on an e-bike shot and killed a 28-year-old man on East 123rd Street and Third Avenue, according to police.
