ARLINGTON, MA — Two GoFundMe campaigns have raised more than $32,000 for the people displaced by a fire that destroyed a two-family home in Arlington over the weekend. The three-alarm blaze broke out at an Egerton Road home Saturday, displacing five people, including the family of Gibbs School head custodian Bobby Noviello, Patch partner YourArlington reported. The fire caused an estimated $600,000 in damages. A GoFundMe campaign organized by Alexa Arsenault has raised more than $18,000. "Please consider donating to my best friend and her family who just lost their home in a house fire. Anything helps!" Arsenault wrote on the campaign page. Click here to donate. A second campaign, organized by Skye Smith for the Noviello/Primmer family, has raised close to $14,000. "Without any time to salvage anything, the family was lucky to get their family dog, Benny and themselves out of the house," Smith wrote. "Although everyone was able to make it out of the house safely, almost nothing in the house was salvageable, including clothes, personal items, and irreplaceable photos, memories and family heirlooms."
