3 Crossings presents Walk For One Promise, a 5K walk to raise funds for the Pittsburgh Promise. Please join us for a 5K walk past Pittsburgh Promise recipient schools and consider giving to support our effort and to invest in the future of Pittsburgh kids, our schools, our city, and our region. Every participant will recieve a Walk for One Promise tie-dyable T-shirt, hand sanitizer, and AdeNation rehydration drink mix (the official beverage of the 2021 Walk for One Promise event). The Promise promotes a mission of equitable educational opportunities for all of our Pittsburgh Public Schools students by removing financial barriers to attend postsecondary schools. Over 8,700 Promise Scholars have received scholarships so far. It’s time for our whole community to stand up and support The Promise to ensure future graduates get the chance to realize the promise each and every one of them has! The Pittsburgh Promise is more than a scholarship program. The Promise can be seen in big dreams of K-12 students, the hard work of Promise Scholars pursuing post-secondary degrees, and through Promise Alumni who give back to the region by enriching the workforce and bolstering our communities.
