Small Artisan Cheese Company in Petaluma is seeking a reliable motivated team member who is a good communicator and comfortable with computer software. If you are looking for hands-on experience in all aspects of the cheese-making process this may be the perfect job for you. Part-time to start but this could grow to a full-time position with management responsibility. Experience in food production is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. This job is typically 25-35 hours per week. Monday-Friday: 7am-1pm Saturday: 4pm-7pm Hours may vary depending on the season Duties and Responsibilities are: Maintain all food safety procedures Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Maintain strict guidelines for the cheese-making process Please submit your resume via email with at least 2 references.
