Join me for a 3-hour Introduction to Modern Calligraphy with ink and dip pen at the lovely Leaf and Bean coffee shop. Flying in from England, I am so excited to be bringing my calligraphy class to Georgia! This is a one-off opportunity and I really hope you'll join me. The class is designed for beginners so it's a perfect place to start! I will introduce you to the basics of modern calligraphy. We will go through your tools, basic strokes and drills, move onto letterforms, words and sentences and even a few tricks making this a bit deeper than many beginner's courses. Your ticket not only includes all your materials but also delicious homemade cookies and coffee from Leaf and Bean. You'll get to carry home the materials we use in the class which includes a workbook of exercises and a starter kit (pen, nib and ink pot) so you can keep practicing on your new, pretty writing skills. Having grown my stationery and calligraphy business in England, I'm excited to bring one of my classes to my old stomping grounds and feel very blessed to be hosted by the lovely people at Leaf and Bean too! Note:Due to the nature of the event, tickets are non-refundable. However, tickets can be transferred to another name as long as this is requested and approved prior to the class.
