Come Kiki in the sun at Detroit's first queer beach. All members of the rainbow mafia are welcome and encouraged to come! Summer is here and it’s about time for a Sunday Funday. ❤️ Where: Belle Isle Beach (Map below for parking and location) When: Friday May 21st 5 pm-Sunset BYOE (bring your own whatever floats your boat 🚣‍♀️) Come hang and have fun at They Beach, Detroit’s new Queer inclusive Beach! Pack your cute suits, banana hammocks and sun screen and we’ll see ya on the beach on belle isle. There will be a bunch of pride flags, fun music, and friends🌈🌈 Our goal is to create a safe, inclusive space for queer folx to gather, connect, and have fun in the city. This is a gender diverse, queer space that is unwavering in the conviction that Black Lives Matter. At minimum, be an active ally to both. No tolerance for hate, disrespect of pronouns, or any behavior that harms another. Safe spaces are created actively, not passively.
