BOWIE, MD — Police said a male was shot Saturday evening in Bowie. Medics took the victim to an unnamed hospital, an incident report mentioned. Officers expect him to survive. Authorities explained that they heard about the shooting in the 12400 block of Shawmont Lane around 10:15 p.m. Police noted that they found the unidentified victim on the scene. The Bowie Police Department added that the shooting does not seem random. The agency advised that it is still investigating.
