Join us outside and watch short films — from BlackStar alum Angela Tucker — exploring the ways the outdoors connects us through generations.
Spanning across 60 years, “The Trees Remember” is a series of compelling, reflective, and sometimes humorous short fiction films that feature Black women of different ages growing and thriving in the outdoors and exploring connection through movement, stewardship, and grace. BlackStar is proud to screen the series outdoors on June 14 at Cherry Street Pier at 4 pm ET.
