Beware of people selling adjustable Bowflex Dumbbells

There is someone selling adjustable Bowflex dumbbells on Craigslist. These are counterfeit. I bought a pair from him a few months ago and they immediately broke. I called the Bowflex company to order a replacement and they said these are counterfeit. There is a group who raids the trash at Bowflex and takes the defective pieces and sells them to unsuspecting customers. The bottom of the base should have a serial number for it to be legit. This is a terrible scam. I am out $875!!
