Urgently Hiring: Looking for service technicians with HVAC experience as well as maintenance technicians (no experience required). Wage / Hours: This position is a full-time, hourly, and non-exempt position. Our business hours are 7am-6pm. Our field technicians’ schedules vary based on workload and on call rotation (one weekday every two weeks, one weekend on call every 6-7 weeks). Working hours may exceed 8 hours a day and exceed 40 hours per week. Wage is based on experience and we offer an extensive spiff program (more details during application process) with abilities to add up to $150,000 per year. Location: This position is performed on the road in the greater Seattle area. Our service range is: North: Everett Area, South: Federal Way Area, East: North Bend. We have two shops in Everett and Seattle. Our dispatch zones are typically near our technician’s homes to keep them close to home. Job Duties / Responsibilities: • Gather information and data about equipment being serviced. Diagnose system failures and issues, educate customer on findings, and offer recommendations for solutions. • Navigate tablet software to understand previous history of customer and their equipment. • Engage in client discussions professionally and politely to uncover their needs and works with their team leaders to address issues if beyond knowledge base. Job Requirements / Skills: • Understanding and follow through in Greenwood’s Core Values and Mission Statement. • Confident and professional communication skills via phone and face to face interaction with homeowners. • Experience with and able to navigate mobile devices (Apple products) with the ability to learn new software. • Attention to detail when debriefing office or homeowner about findings in the field. • Service oriented and ability to interact with all customer service scenarios (positive and negative). Ability to empathize and work through challenging problem-solving situations. Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • HVAC experience required, with additional training provided. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. • Must be able to be on your feet / knees for extended periods of time. • Must be able to work in crawl spaces and attics for periods of time.
