If you cringe at the thought of these traits and you are interested in working as a carpenter or construction laborer for a quality residential construction contractor please keep reading. My residential contracting and repair company has been in business for over 25 years in the central Seattle neighborhoods and needs additional carpenters and general laborers willing to learn a variety of trade skills. In this role you will participate in a wide range of projects with tasks including: repairing foundations, installing doors and windows, proper painting, drywall hanging and mudding, cabinetry building and installation, tile installation and general help with large and small home remodeling projects. My clientele consists mostly of repeat customers who expect the best quality materials and workmanship. Traits you must posses: -Clean, organized and timely in your work -Positive attitude and willingness to complete any task required to get the job done -Physically fit with ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly -Inquisitive and detail oriented -Ability to follow instructions and work independently -Drug free (yes, testing will be administered) Bonus traits which will be rewarded in pay: -Own a reliable vehicle capable of hauling 4’x8’ sheet goods and lumber exceeding 10’ -Own reliable basic hand and power tools including saws and drills A background check will be performed. Weekly working hours will depend on skillset and ability to work independently but with a minimum of 30 hours per week. Pay range begins at $25/hour and may reach $50 depending on skills, experience and other traits.
