Preservation Partners Management Group is looking for a Part-Time Janitor for our community in Olympia, Washington. This position is Part-Time, 25 hours per week (more hours available on an as needed basis), Monday thru Friday from 9:00am - 3:00pm with an hour lunch. Position: The Janitor position reports to the Property Manager and will assist with all aspects of cleaning the exterior of the building, interior common spaces commercial, trash pickup, cleaning the common areas, cleaning the laundry rooms, changing light bulbs as needed, minor touch up painting where needed, and other duties as assigned. • Perform routine lighting checks and replacing light bulbs as needed • Understand and complies with Fair Housing Laws and standards (training is provided) • Attention to detail and a self-starter • Effective communicator and problem solving skills Qualifications (representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required): • Availability – 5 day work week; schedule will be 9am-3pm with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday with additional hours available when needed and potential for growth and position advancement. Travel to sister sites may be required at times occasionally for support. • Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. • Must have a valid driver's license Compensation: • $15-$16/hour DOE + PTO and growth potential • 24 hours of sick time per year and 11 paid holidays off The applicant must pass a pre-employment/post offer background check, and have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
