No Credible Threat At Temecula Valley High School

TEMECULA, CA — A "potential threat" reported Tuesday morning at Temecula Valley High School was unfounded, although a flood at the campus was very real. "All classes are off-campus asynchronous today due to mud created from flooding on the campus," a statement from Temecula Valley Unified School District read early in the day. "In addition, the police are investigating a potential threat. We believe both incidents will be resolved today and on-campus learning will resume tomorrow." But deputies concluded their investigation and found no credible threat, according to Temecula Valley Unified School District spokesperson Laura Boss. "The campus is safe," Boss said. However, a flood at the campus was still being addressed Tuesday afternoon. "Our maintenance crews are continuing to clean up the mud and debris from the flood," Boss explained, noting that school will resume Wednesday as normal. All on-campus classes were canceled Tuesday and moved to virtual. This week marks the last days of the 2020-21 academic school year for the Golden Bears. Graduation is set for Friday.
