MAYWOOD, IL — A Lombard man has been charged with first-degree murder after police said he fatally shot a customer who refused to pay for a haircut at his Maywood barber shop Thursday, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Deshon Mcadory, 40, is being held on $250,000 bail in connection with the incident, which took place at Studio 914 Barbershop, 914 S. 5th Ave. in Maywood. Police said Christian McDougald, 31, got into an argument with Mcadory after refusing to pay for his haircut. As the argument escalated, McDougald and Mcadory went outside the barbershop, where police said Mcadory shot McDougald in the chest. McDougald was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead. Mcadory was identified by a witness after surveillance video captured the shooting. Police said a gun was found in Mcadory's coat, and three guns were found inside the barbershop at a booth that belonged to Samuel Williams, 43, the shop's co-owner. Williams was charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and held on a $25,000 bond. Mcadory and Williams are set to appear in court again Wednesday. More via the Chicago Sun-Times
