PENNSYLVANIA — Data compiler Niche has released its 2021 list of best cities to live in America and surprisingly only one Pennsylvania city cracked the top 50. It was Pittsburgh, which was ranked 30th.
"Living in Pittsburgh offers residents an urban-suburban mix feel and most residents rent their homes. In Pittsburgh there are a lot of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks," Niche wrote about the city in the new study. "Many young professionals live in Pittsburgh and residents tend to have moderate political views. The public schools in Pittsburgh are above average."
Overall, Niche gave the city an A grade. Grades were based on factors such as the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics, and access to amenities in an attempt to measure the overall quality of an area.
