Job Title: Service Valet/Porter Stevinson Toyota West is seeking a Service Valet/Porter to join their Service team. Previous dealership Valet/ Porter experience is helpful. Compensation: $15 per hour based on experience -$1500.00 Sign-On / Retention Bonus Work Hours: Full Time schedule as defined JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Assist customers by directing them to the proper location. Move vehicles to facilitate good vehicle flow in the service drive. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES • Greet all customer entering the service area with a positive attitude. • Assist all service personnel as needed to make the customers experience as positive as possible. • Clean vehicles in accordance with Stevinson polices regarding COVID-19. • Install the proper and necessary items to protect the vehicles interior. • SAFELY move vehicles to and from service drive. • Identify and secure customers keys properly and safely. • Move vehicles on the lot into proper and safe locations. • Clean the service drive and service areas as directed by management. Including removing trash, cleaning the floors, wiping down surfaces, etc. • Snow and debris removal from the service area. • Automatic carwash customer cars as directed. SKILLS and REQUIREMENTS • 1 to 3 months related experience is preferred but not required. • Excellent driving and parking skills required. • English language required (bilingual is a plus) • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one with supervisor and customer and small group situations with customers. • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. • Valid Driver’s License • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. • Regularly exposed to all weather elements.
