This has gotten quite out of hand. While I initially enjoyed the drama unfolding before my eyes, it’s gone too far. I now expect to see an update to this saga every time I check for new musician postings and it makes me kinda sad. I agree...this gentleman has no tact or reasonable understanding of approach. It is in any artist’s right to question any individual soliciting managerial, sound, or musicianship related services. How many stories have we all heard of artists being ripped off, undersold, or worse by management and/or record companies? I hope none of us perusing these posts ever fall into such a trap. I commend the community for taking action against a perceived threat! However, part of me thinks it’s been taken to extremes. As a collective we have successfully lambasted this individual and I think it’s to the point of kicking a dead horse. If he doesn’t get the idea by now, what good will it serve for us to sink to a level unbecoming of ourselves. We are musicians! Our craft is to unify and not divide. Harmony before dissonance. Do what you do fellow craftsman, but I for one am saddened that we have let this take such hold away from the focus of this platform. Be wary of those services on offer, but don’t fan the flames of chaos. Respect ✊
