Stage Hands (In Thurs 6/3 9am-3pm - Out Sunday 6/6 8pm-12am We want to hire 2 safe, reliable, experienced hands to assist our small traveling crew move and assemble a truckload of gear for a dance competition. This job involves unloading/loading and moving heavy, wheeled cases and carts, helping assemble portable production equipment. All tools are provided. You must have prior experience with event setup, breakdown and working with basic hand tools and materials handling. There is a lot of LIFTING and BENDING involved so you must be agile and physically fit. The work is indoors once we have loaded in. Reply only if you meet ALL of these requirements. 1) Must be available to work BOTH load in and load out. 2) Must have your own transportation. 3) Must communicate well in English. 4) Must be eligible for legal employment. 5) Must be healthy, energetic & physically fit. Lots of bending & lifting! Dress in stage blacks (no big logos or lettering). Long pants, sturdy shoes. Pay is in cash at the conclusion of the load out. Rate negotiable.
