Hey everyone! We are The Anima Effect, if you are unfamiliar with us then let us start off by saying we are a Progressive Metalcore/Djent act that has been based here in Redding since early 2017. Since then we have released multiple studio records, one EP and toured all across the region before the pandemic hit. We have collaborated with major recording artists like Born Of Osiris, Within The Ruins, Berried Alive, and also smaller local acts like Your Hands Write History, and Chiasma. We are a fully independent in house recording and filming studio meaning we film and edit all of our own videos, and we record and produce all of our own tunes. We are currently in the process of writing and recording our 4th record and are now looking for new members to fill the missing spots to perform live. We are also a politically active band and use our music and our platform to be a voice for left wing causes like climate change, police brutality, wealth inequality, and class solidarity. We advocate for democratic socialism and we are looking not only for musicians to share the stage with us, but allies in our struggle for justice. With that being said we are now auditioning: Drums, Bass, Rhythm Guitar, & Keyboards/Synths We are also open to inviting a clean singer to the group but preferably that would be a secondary asset to playing one of these instruments.
