They are knowledgeable in their field, highly skilled, organized and detail oriented. They follow specific protocols while performing their mitigation and mold remediation duties. If you are looking for a career in a fast-paced environment that helps make a difference in others lives then we welcome you to join our team.Responsibilities include:Drive a company vehicle to customers homes and businesses throughout Chicago and the South & West SuburbsLoad and unload equipment and supplies from the vehicle to the work siteClear the work site by moving furniture and equipmentEstablish and maintain a service schedule to ensure all service is delivered to meet customer requirementsMaintain a professional appearanceCommunicate with customers and provide exceptional customer serviceInventorying, packing and cleaning contentsCleaning and maintaining equipmentPerforming demolition including, but not limited to, removing damaged or wet building materialsAssessing water, fire, smoke and mold damage situations and performing mitigation workMeasure and sketch affected areasTake photos and meticulous document damage in our cloud-based systemTake accurate moisture readings and properly set up drying equipmentFollow all Environmental Protection Agency and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations for disposal of wastewater and chemicalsPerform all work to meet or exceed applicable federal, state, and local regulations and company and customer quality standardsRead and comprehend all applicable SDS for chemicals that require special handling and use of Personal Protective EquipmentComply with all verbal and written safety practices including the use and maintenance of personal protective equipmentPerform other duties as assignedQualifications for this position:High School diploma or equivalentKnowledge of construction or cleaningIICRC certifications and not required but a plusWilling to obtain certificationsMid-level computer skills; ability to use an iPad, familiar with Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, e-mail, and word processingFunctional understanding of the latest technologies (mobile/smartphones)Aptitude for learning new technology and softwareValid driver's license is requiredMust be able to pass a background checkStrong written/verbal skills to accurately present information to customersAttention to detailAble to problem solve and follow detailed instructionsStrong math skills including percentages, ratios, computations, and fractionsThis position requires the physical stamina/ability to perform all aspects of this job (lifting up to 100 pounds, bending, kneeling, reaching, etc.)* Pay is determined by the applicant's experience.* Health benefits* IICRC training*Must be able to pass a background check.About Rainbow International Restoration:Whether facing fire, smoke, water or mold damage, people need help and they need it fast.
