Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 06/01/2021   Preliminary information:  On May 31, 2021 at around 2:00 AM, an officer was dispatched to Atlanta Medical Center South in reference to an adult male who arrived at the location with a gunshot wound.  Upon arrival, an officer spoke with the male who stated while walking to his girlfriend's house in the area of 600 Hutchins Rd, a vehicle drove by and fired gunshots towards his direction.  Moments later, he realized he had been struck.  He was unable to provide a description of the suspect vehicle.  Investigators responded to the scene and will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.  The investigation continues.
