Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 06/01/2021   Preliminary information:  On May 31, 2021 at around 9:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to 195 Fairburn Rd NW on a person shot call.  Upon arrival, officers located two gunshot victims at the location.  One male was pronounced  deceased and the other gunshot victim was transported in stable condition. Preliminary investigation indicates shots were fired from a vehicle that fled the scene after the shooting.  Additionally, there was an occupied apartment that sustained property damage from the gunfire; those occupants were uninjured.  Homicide Investigators were notified and will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.  The investigation continues.   Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light This press release was produced by the Atlanta Police Department.
