German shepherd PLEASE READ

Hans is a 17 month old male, in tact shepherd with full akc. We have raised him since 3 months old. Unfortunately, he is too protective to the point we can not have company or kids over to the fear he will bite. He doesn't take to strangers. We have tried everything. Treats etc. He just simply will not change this behavior. We do not have a fenced yard and he's never been kenneled so we aren't sure how he would do kenneled now would help or be possible. We want a safe home. We want him to be able to live his life without us fearing him biting someone. I think he would do well as a security dog or with a trainer as an owner. Hans is due as of 2 weeks ago for rabies shot but has all other shots. Hes approximately 95lbs. Absolutely loves water. You can't keep him out of it. He's obedience trained as far as sit, lay, stay, go to bed, potty etc. He is the biggest baby at home without anyone around. It kills me to have to even look for another home. I'm asking just $300 which is a FRACTION of what we have in him. His dog food is approximately $90 a month. He can not have grain or bread at all. If you know of a trainer or are one looking for a new addition I believe with the right, experienced owner He will thrive again. He is still young enough I'm hoping. We just can't afford a trainer Unfortunately.
