Educate Ya is a non-profit that has been around for over 20 years! We have free programs for the Latinx community to facilitate the multi cultural experience and integration they face in the Portland area. We are in search of volunteers that would like to be part of our community by volunteering with us. We have several programs available (or soon to be available again) ranging from language tutoring, becoming a health educator (for bilngual folx), helping us at our firework sale (week of Fourth of July) and helping us for our annual gala and fundraiser "Dando Bailando", which will be held in September. Time commitment varies from each position but can be just an afternoon to a weekly scheduled session. (We do social distancing/masking and most position can be done from home) These are all a great chance to get involved with the Portland Latinx community, make a difference and connect with like minded people.
