Description
Hello, I am looking for bids on a small woodworking job estimated to take between 4 and 5 hours, to install 48 separators as shown in the picture. The placement for each separator will be marked in pencil.
The requested order of work to include:
1) Pick up items from Lowe's or Home Depot (or anyplace that will call me directly when you are checking out, in order to take my credit card over the phone):
a) 44 corner brackets. Size: 5"- 6" by 5"- 6"
b) Box of at least 158 screws 1.25" long.
2) Cut 1" x 8" x 5' boards (I will provide onsite) down to 48 different 1" x 8" x 7.5" rectangles. (8 rectangles per board).
3) Drill 2 pilot holes in the bottom edge and 2 pilot holes in the outside edge of each rectangle, aligned with the holes of the corner brackets.
4) Drill 2 pilot holes through each shelf in the bookcase, where separators are marked to go, and aligned with the holes of the corner brackets.
5) Drive a screw into each pilot hole. (The 2 holes on the bottom have to be started with a small screwdriver before a power drill will fit).
All tools not obtained at the hardware store are provided onsite.
Any stripped screws will need to be removed and replaced with an unstripped screw.
