Summer job for student full or part time We are seeking a warm and friendly, dependable person with a good eye for detail and color. We need person to sort through our rejected tiles, make decisions about their classification and rework the tiles. This position is temporary for the summer either full or part time. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a starting rate of $15 per hour. We are a privately-owned designer and manufacturer of decorative natural stone products. Our clients are an established network of dealers who sell our products throughout North America. You can learn more by visiting our website: www.StoneImpressions.com DUTIES: Sorting stone tiles. Inspect and classify the tiles and sort into groups for reuse, trash or charitable donation. Strip with water (no solvents), after training, the surface of the tiles. Stock by stone type, trash or pack tiles. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including daily cleaning, sweeping and bi-monthly mopping of area. Additional production duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong work ethic, taking responsibility for task completion and meeting deadlines. Ability to lift 25 pounds repeatedly. Ability to observe and understand visual details of various types of stones and colors. Ability to work efficiently, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
