As a Delivery driver/helper you will be delivering furniture into customer’s homes. You’ll play a critical role in delivering on our promise to provide our Ashley customers with excellent customer service. This is a top priority. You’ll work in a fast-paced and physically engaging environment where you manage a daily delivery schedule to safely and securely load, deliver furniture into customer’s homes. Key Responsibilities: Load/unload truck Call customers prior to delivery Deliver merchandise to customer homes in Company provided vehicle as assigned Keep vehicles clean and organized Must be able to follow instructions Must be consistent and show 100% effort in learning Job Qualifications: Helpers must be at least 18 years of age. Drivers must be 21. Must be dependable and on time. This is a must! Must be able to pass a background check. But there are also more opportunities so don't be afraid to apply Friendly with good communication skills Excellent customer service skills Drivers must have a valid state driver’s license and good driving record with experience driving a straight truck. Must be able to lift and move (push/pull) heavy, bulky items and merchandise on a regular basis Must have furniture delivery experience or capability to learn quickly Drivers must be able to pass DOT physical and road test. We will pay top dollar for reliable, dependable, hardworking people.
