Role: Willamette Valley Transport is looking to find a 2 Graveyard Medical Transport Driver(s) in the Salem area. For this position you will be taking our clients to and from doctors appointments, dialysis, and even assisting in discharging them from the local hospitals. We are dedicated to finding the best employees who share a passion in helping others! Job Responsibilities: Transport passengers safely, assist them door-to-door, load & unload both passengers and belongings. Follow schedule, GPS, other company apps, and report regularly to dispatch. Maintain vehicle interior and exterior and arrange for vehicle services. Lift, push, carry 50 lbs on a regular basis. Job Type: Full Time 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM Pay: $13.50 per hour. Qualifications and Education Requirements Experience in customer service / or working with the elderly with a good track record of assisting customers in a thoughtful, caring and timely manner Driver's License (Required) Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Must have a clean 8 years clean year driving record, plus 10 year no DUII reckless or careless driving Must have a high school diploma or GED Preferred Skills Must be passionate about helping people Know how to keep a level head in a busy environment Great communication skills A good working knowledge of the Marion/Polk county area is a plus First Aid/CPR certification a plus but not required (we will train and certify) Additional Notes The candidate for this position will be a great communicator, enthusiastic about the opportunity and have experience in customer service. Training will be provided.
