Greetings fellow serious musicians! I am a musically educated and experienced guitarist, keyboardist, composer/songwriter, who draws inspiration from the musicians and sound of Progressive Rock, Fusion, and the great composers, but I try to write more conventional 4-minute forms, with a fresh cutting-edge original sound, of course. Looking to collaborate in band with singer/songwriters; a bassist like Chris Squire or Mike Rutherford (Rickenbacker 4001 mega-bonus!), a keyboardist like Keith Emerson or Tony Banks, and a syncopated, rudimentary-skilled Drummist like Bill Bruford, Richard Bailey, or Stewart Copeland. Influences not limited to: Johann Sebastian Bach, Niccolo Paganini, Modest Mussorgsky, Igor Stravinsky, Bela Bartok, John Coltrane, Allan Holdsworth, John McLaughlin, Pat Metheny, Pekka Pohjola, Robert Fripp, Steve Howe, Alex Lifeson, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Ulrich Roth, Michael Schenker, Ritchie Blackmore, Steve Vai, Justin Hayward, David Gates, Kerry Livgren, Todd Rundgren. Creatively speaking; I'm avoiding limiting my abilities to any strict confines of "genre". I prefer to compose and play whatever I want. OUR "original music" will be the genre. The more creativity ~ less semantics, no boxes aproach. I have a rehearsal spot to collaborate composing, and rehearse anytime 24/7.
