Red Tail Boa - BCI - Bioactive Enclosure

Description

I am having to downsize my living situation a bit so some of my animals are in need of a new home. Sadly, one of my favorites also takes up the most space. My (probably male) BCI is roughly six feet in length and growing. Very solid eater on frozen thawed rats, ASFs, whatever, he's not picky. Never had any health concerns or a bad shed. He's housed in a 4'x2'x2' bioactive Zen PVC enclosure with locking sliding doors, matching cabinet stand and a small topper to hide any lighting. I currently have two ceramic heat emitters and a heat pad on thermostats for the hot side. This allows him to bask up high but also to hide on the bottom of the enclosure and stay warm down where it's more humid. He has a brand new Finnex plant LED light that spans the 4' enclosure and is programmed for a 24 hour cycle. Dawn, dusk, day, night, etc. It also has a fogger. Enclosure features live plants that definitely all need more attention than I have provided (namely more misting/using the fogger). I can send a monsoon system mister with him, I hadn't set it up yet. It does have a LECA drainage layer with screen over it, and a blend of organic potting soil, cypress mulch, moss, leaf litter. Requires only to be watered regularly. If you find a poop, remove it, but I rarely do. Also seeded with earth worms, springtails, dairy cow isopods. I can send more pics of the enclosure in email. Enclosure with everything in it, asking $600. Snake, asking $200. I'd love for him to go with his enclosure. He explores all parts of it, especially at night. Please email for more information. This is not an animal or enclosure I want to part with, I'm just not sure I can find a place for him when I lose having a reptile/pet room.
