Job Title: Title Clerk Stevinson Toyota East is seeking a Title Clerk to join their team. Previous dealership experience preferred. Compensation: $17.00-$22.00 based on experience Work Hours: Work Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday - Friday JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Processes car deals. Verifies costs for the accounting department, including the costs of reconditioning and equipment add-ons and handles the legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES • One (1) year Title Clerk experience and/or training preferred (willing to train right candidate) • English language required, (Bilingual a plus) • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and coworkers. • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. • Ability to compute tax rates. • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
