Help sell locally sourced food outside at the farmers' market on the weekend and 1/2 weekday. We need helpers at our market booths and events all around the DMV. Need both cooks and 'front booth' sales people. Prefer applicants with a general comfort level with both roles. This a part-time weekend / 2 weekday opportunity, $11 to $13 per hour, plus tips. Worker discount also offered and 1 free meal per shift! Ability to lift up to 50lbs and reliable transportation required. Shifts start early and markets are rain or shine! So can't be afraid to get up early on the weekend or to work outside on days when the weather. we are willing to train you, even if you lack experience. If you are true to your word, show up when you say and on time, and know how to hustle, we want you on the team and can be flexible with your shifts. Prefer applicants looking for a longer term part-time arrangement. Will consider students that may not be present year around, but that do expect to return during breaks and holidays).
