12yo beautiful cat needs a calm home

Unfortunately, I need to rehome my 12-year-old black long-haired cat. I have been in her life since the day she was born and she has moved with me from Florida to Oregon 8 years ago. She is very independent but thrives when she has constant attention. She doesn't want to be touched all the time but she wants to be near you all the time. Bagheera (named after the black jaguar in the jungle book) also talks a lot. She likes it when you talk back to her, I think she just likes to be heard sometimes. She is sweet but she can also be very ornery and doesn't want you to touch her when she doesn't want to be touched. I think Bagheera would do best in a quiet and calm home with no other pets or one large dog. She doesn't do well with other cats and she's never been around children. She has very well cared for her whole life, she recently saw the vet for a senior panel/overall health check-up and is in perfect health. I am not looking forward to rehoming her but I cannot provide her with the care she needs anymore.
