Needing helpers moving furniture and boxes, etc. Main responsibilities are to follow instructions, follow all procedures, not to take any risks, and not to damage customer's belongings, their homes or even our equipment. As well as communicating any problems or anything not according to the set plan immediately without hesitation or delay. AGAIN: You're being hired for moving, but your top priority even before moving, even before not damaging anything, your number one duty is to LISTEN to and carry out ALL instructions/procedures to the letter!!! This is only part time, unscheduled and occasional work. It could be as early as tomorrow or a week from now. It could be one job or several a week. Some jobs can be a couple hours or several hours. We rarely ever do a second job for the day unless they're both small jobs. It always varies and jobs can pop up the day before. I would put a few more jobs on the schedule as long as I have helpers who can be depended on and want more work and MOST IMPORTANTLY, listen to and completely follow instructions. It's cash daily and you can make a nice chunk of change each day/week. But let me repeat, procedures and instructions are to be followed consistently and without exception. These simple, time-tested techniques make the moving easier, safer, more efficient, meaning less work and helps get us more tips and referrals. These procedures (as well as the customer) are to be respected as I've perfected them over the many decades and am not needing any advice how to change them. Pretty simple. We have good equipment and tools to make these jobs as easy as possible too. ***When replying, leave your name, a brief description of any experience, a working phone number and how you'll get to the jobs on time.*** Simple communication and mutual respect are keys to making work uncomplicated, easier and hassle-free.
