Fun Delivery Driver - $15-$18/hr (Part-Time and Full Time available) PlayGround Games is Chicagoland’s premier party and rental company. We are expanding again and are looking for awesome delivery drivers. We only hire Rock Stars to join our team. If we are talking about you, read below and apply today! *WE DO NOT DELIVER PACKAGES SIMILAR TO FEDEX, UPS, OR AMAZON. **We are a party and event rental company looking to hire delivery drivers. We deliver party and event rental equipment that weighs between 50-350 lbs. Days worked are usually Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays. Some weekday work and holidays will be required. Varies with client demand. Your Benefits: Weekly breakfast, coffee, or lunch provided with good performance Cash tips provided by many clients Discounts on equipment rentals 10% commission for any events brought in by YOU that books Paid Training Awesome uniform provided Advancement Opportunities or converting to year-round employment for the right candidate Driver Must: Load, Transport, and Set up inflatables, games, concessions, and supplies to event locations Review safety and cleanliness procedures with the responsible party Fully adhere to planned route mapping and deliver safely within scheduled times Brief cleaning and inspection of equipment on site Return at the end of the rental period, take equipment down, and return to our warehouse location Maintain ongoing communication with management, facility staff, and other necessary personal Qualifications: Always be on time to work, with a positive attitude, and a clean appearance Must be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays Willing to work long hours. Get up before the sun rises, call it a day after the sun goes down Be physically fit and able to maneuver heavy loads with ease (units weigh 50 - 450 lbs) Must have a clean criminal record and able to work in the U.S. Must be drug and tobacco-free Must be willing to learn, great communicator, and be coachable Must have reliable personal transportation every day Must be able to pass a background check. Pay starts out at $15/hour for training and Level 1 drivers. Level 2 drivers earn $16-17/hour. Level 3 drivers can make as much as $18/hour. Cash tips are kept by the driver and split with Driver’s assistant. More information can be obtained through the interview/hiring process. We work in a very professional, candid, and fun atmosphere.
