1 Year Old Border Collie Mix Needing Home

Hello! Anya is a sweet, cuddly, fetch loving girl! She turned 1 in April. An elderly lady took her in as a puppy. As Anya got older, her love for a good round of fetch became too much for an apartment-dwelling elderly woman. Anya needs a home that has a good sized yard and time for daily fetch sessions. She is not spayed yet but I would like her to go to a home that will continue proper vet care including spaying in the near future. Vaccines are up to date and I can send a copy of her records. Anya is excellent with people and children! She is a little shy around new dogs but quickly warms up. We frequent the dog park and she will play with other dogs some but mostly wants to hang with me and play fetch. She has done well with my kitty and other dogs. She can be a little food aggressive and toy possessive with other dogs in the home but I feed mine separate in their kennels anyway and I have been working on this with her. Teaching her the value of sharing. She has learned very quick in the short time she has been with me and even knows some basic obedience now. She is a wonderful dog that has a lot of love to give and can be a little nutty without proper exercise and mental stimulation as with any animal or human. I can send her crate, leash, harness, collars, some toys, and a bag of food with her to her new home! Asking small rehoming fee.
