The College of the Atlantic Summer Institute is a week-long ideas festival. The 2021 theme is Good Food and Food Fights. The College of the Atlantic welcomes leaders from around the world to share their expertise and thoughts on the most pressing issues of our time. This year’s theme is Good Food and Food Fights. During the week, we will explore all aspects of food—production, policy, climate change, food justice, hunger, organics, nutrition, and the joy of eating and cooking. Registration All events are free and open to the public, but registration is required. Registration is currently limited to Champlain Society members. General registration will open to the public on June 1. Please note that there is an option to join in person or virtually for every session. In person attendance is strictly capped in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines. You may register up to 2 people for the Summer Institute per registration form. Please feel free to fill out additional forms for registering participants not in your household. We reserve the right to close or change the registration form at any time based on availability, capacity limits, etc.
