They said we may never return. They, were wrong. Back with a vengeance: the 2021 Poverty Bay Blues & Brews Fest. Save the date for Saturday, August 28th for 4 earth-shaking blues performances and dozens of life-changing craft-beers from the Northwest’s Best Beer makers. All happening in the Center of the known universe. Des Moines, Washington. In a perfectly tuned natural amphitheater that very well may have been carved out by a volcanic eruption. Early-Bird tickets for this one-day event go on sale at DrinkToMusic.org on June 1st, best of all 100% of the net proceeds from Blues & Brews goes to causes powered by the Rotary, like putting instruments in the hands of kids in need who want to play in band. Enjoy a day on the shores of Puget Sound, listening and dancing to the tunes of the some of the most outstanding blues artists in the Pacific Northwest while helping us fund our charitable projects including our primary beneficiary Highline Music4Life. This year we are featuring the following premier Northwest Blues Bands: Stacy Jones Band 12:30 to 2:00 High Note Group 2:30 to 4:00 Too Slim and the Traildraggers 4:30 to 6:00 CD Woodbury 6:30 to 8:00 Lineup and schedule subject to change. To complement your blues we will be featuring over 15 local breweries and a variety of fine foods. The Festival will be located on the shores of Puget Sound at the Des Moines Beach Park. This is an outdoor event and will be held rain or shine, you must be 21 or older to attend and no pets will be allowed inside the event. No outside food or beverages allowed. Low lawn chairs and picnic blankets allowed. There will be plenty of parking (paid in the marina with amaximum price $6.00) with a free shuttle circulating the marina on a regular basis. While you are in town, you might want to visit the Des Moines Farmer's Market. Tickets are $35 Early Bird; $40 General Admission. Six tasting tokens included with the price of admission. All beer tastings are one Token!
