This workshop is going to help you take your Ceramic Art to the next level! Enhance your pottery with a vinyl cutter! Clay offers us such vast opportunities for design. From the body of the clay to the shape to the surface design and glaze. In this workshop, Patty Darden, of PGD ceramics, will lead the class in creating their own unique creations using the Cricut. You will learn how to create your own designs and set them up on your vinyl cutter. From there Patty will discuss throwing with a design in mind and crafting an idea after the piece is bisque fire. After an in-depth demonstration, you will have an opportunity to work hands-on with your own pieces. Items you need:Bisque fired pieces. (preferably a white clay body but anything you have is acceptable)smartphone, tablet, or laptop.We ask that you be mildly tech-savvy, such as being able to take a screenshot on your phone and knowing how to use your device’s Bluetooth capability.
