The Juneteenth Foundation Freedom Reception You are cordially invited to The Freedom Reception hosted by The Juneteenth Foundation. This in-person event will bring together members of Congress, celebrities, CEOs, and community leaders together to celebrate Juneteenth in the nation’s capital. The event will also honor the next generation of Black scholars by awarding scholarships to students attending HBCUs. The event will have live music, food, entertainment, and some of the nation’s key leaders and champions for the African American community. Reception starts at 7:00 pm and ends at 9:00 pm located at Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Event Park 1964 Independence Avenue, SW (On the corner of Ohio Drive and Independence Avenue, SW) Washington, DC 20003. The registration fee is $235. This is a widely attended event in accordance with House & Senate Ethics Rules. The Juneteenth Foundation, a 501(C)3 was founded for the purpose of recognizing Juneteenth and celebrating Black excellence and culture.
