The Heroes and Horses Hoedown is an outdoor event benefiting rescue horses and equine-assisted programs for veterans and their families. The Hoedown is an outdoor event benefiting rescue horses and equine-assisted programs for veterans, first responders, and their families. This outdoor event offers a catered dinner, live music, silent auction, photo booth, bonfire, and more. Our guests enjoy an evening outdoors surrounded by horses and positive vibes as we raise funds to feed and care for the rescue horses for the coming year. Proceeds also support free horsemanship clinics and programs offered to veterans, first responders, and their families. This is our biggest and most critical fundraiser of the year. There will be a delicious catered meal including dessert, and you can mingle while enjoying wine, beer, margaritas or soft drinks at the open air bar. LIVE MUSIC with Mad Dog Friedman Blues! Silent auction, photo booth, bonfire, the Battlin' Betties, a caricature artist, and of course, horses! Silent auction donations and sponsorship opportunities are still available. Live Music with Mad Dog Blues Sponsors from the 2020 Heroes and Horses Hoedown Veteran hanging out with rescue horse, Tehya Allegiance Ranch and Equine Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization who's mission is to help horses and heroes by offering a safe place for healing, developing a sense of purpose, and establishing meaningful connections between horses and humans. Allegiance Ranch strives to keep horses out of the slaughter pipeline by rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming at-risk horses while also supporting veterans, first responders, and their families. Our rescue horses work with veterans, first responders, and their families as support animals through a variety of programs including horsemanship clinics, summer camps, and unstructured one-on-one time.
