FEATURED ADOPTABLE: A young visitor to Bunanza saw Fern and cried, "Look, Mom! It's a cow bunny!" We *do* see the resemblance to a Holstein, but we think she's a lot prettier. Fern's mom was pregnant when she arrived; Fern was born here...along with her more confident sisters. One of those sisters chomped Fern near her eye – she's fine and the missing fur is growing in well – but having started out more cautious by nature, she's now fearful of other rabbits, and to a lesser degree, of people. Fern cowers at first when a hand approaches to pet her, but she gradually relaxes into it. She's not a biter and never aggressive, just frightened. This beautiful girl needs a patient, grounded person who can give her the safe space she needs to become confident herself. Could you be the one?
