A Thoughtful Practice with Vanessa Cartagena 5pm @ 912 Julia St.
This meditation is an offering to simply be with what is. Our breath, our bodies, our awareness. There is power in acknowledging and granting space around all that we are and all that we carry with us. As we “sit with” ourselves, we sit with our current experiences and emotions as they are and make the room for ourselves to explore and release into freer ways of being.
Meditation will begin at 5:15pm and run for 30 minutes. Feel free to stay to share your experiences with the community after. We will wrap up and clear the space by 6pm.
What you will need (optional):
Something comfortable to sit on if you like (mat, blanket) and some water
Due to Covid-19 we will be practicing a socially distanced event. Masks are required when entering and roaming the studio. You are welcome to take your mask off while you sit for meditation.

A suggested $5-$10 contribution is greatly appreciated.
We accept Venmo, Zelle or Cash. Contributions can also be made on the day of the event.
A portion of the proceeds will go towards 912 Julia St. communal art space and their continuing efforts to support NOLA artists and their Jungle (communal garden).
