Modern Wiring, Serving All of Santa Cruz County is looking for applicants that have a passion for anything A/V. Digital home technologies are growing quickly and we are in the middle of the excitement. We are a team of passionate people with a "work hard, play hard" attitude. We are looking for an apprentice with experience working with their hands to train in the world of Audio/Video. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to, running low voltage cabling in residential and commercial buildings, terminating and testing, mounting TVs and Projectors, installing A/V equipment, installing security cameras, data patch panels and even talking to Alexa and Google. We work directly with homeowners and service contractors. Requirements: Must speak English and be authorized to work in the US Excellent customer service Good work ethic Punctual Willing to learn Clean driving record Previous experience is a plus and any or all: Construction experience Low voltage cabling: running and termination Hand & power tools Onsite Troubleshooting, and Repair Home Automation, Audio/Video, Networking, Security This position is 30 hours and eventually moving to full-time. We concentrate in Santa Cruz County with some work on the summit, so if you live out of this area we probably aren't for you.
